- Bestiary Expansion – TWS
Tiny lions, deep-sea fish, 2-meter-long lobsters, a damn mosasaur, and more!
Time for a massive update on the creatures of Andaril! Granted, I’ve already made many of these a while ago, but seeing as I added half a dozen more today, I figured it was only fitting to make an update here too.
(Also, the main book has made tons of progress again; yes, I rewrote the first third once again, but in my defence, it IS a lot better now!)
Behold, the new creatures!
Felines:
- Pygmy Lion: a nocturnal, housecat-sized melanistic lion that hunts small rodents, birds, and tree-dwelling marsupials
- Zebra Cat: a super-fast and active, striking cat with zebra stripes, kept by rich royals as pets

Pygmy Lion
Zebra Cat Fish/Aquatic:
- Sea Tyrant: a mosasaur-like apex predator terrorizing coastal shipping routes
- Blue Pearl Lobster: a colossal, long-lived cobalt-blue lobster that grows to two meters in size, weighing as much as two men combined
- Rockjaw: a tanky, armored dunkleosteus-like fish the size of a sturgeon
- Crocfish: a foul-tasting (like iron and chalk) pike-sized riverbed ambush predator that frequently bites the feet of people that pass through.
- Red Pike: a rust-colored freshwater ambush predator specifically adapted to high-iron, tannin-rich lakes
- Pink Glowfish: a tiny, semi-translucent deep-sea fish that drifts in massive bioluminescent schools

Sea Tyrant
Blue Pearl Lobster
Rockjaw
Crocfish
Red Pike
Pink Glowfish Insects:
- Devilfly: a panther-sized Etherian demon dragonfly with a crocodile-tier bite force and a pressurized, explosive gas bladder. Swarms in the thousands to wipe out settlements.
- Tyrian Queen Morph: a giant 40cm butterfly with biting mandibles for EATING flowers (instead of a proboscis). Hunted to near extinction because of its color (demonic superstition for purple)

Devilfly
Tyrian Queen Morph (also known locally as the “Sparrowhawk Morph”) Birds:
- Bullet Bird: a coastal, blue kingfisher-like bird that uses air magic to blast off like a blind kamikaze bullet when a threat comes at them (their main predator is the Red Argent)
- Messenger Raven: cracked-out ravens bred specifically for communication and intelligence, kept loyal through psychoactive kibble, feasting on carrion (translation: eats dead soldiers)

- Physics, Skellington, and The World Stones – TWS
Accurace Physics for Andaril and the World Stones, new Side Story, and more!
Once again, I am caught up in severe worldbuilders disease, but fret not, all of it is “absolutely” VITAL to the story! So, what did I actually do this time? Tl:dr, I made the planet accurate to physics, finished the Skellington side story, and overcomplicated the World Stones themselves to get them to fit neatly within modern physics!
Andaril (The Planet of TWS)
After hyperfixating on space, I naturally had to make Andaril scientifically accurate as a planet! Problem? It was a smaller planet that I still wanted to act virtually identical to Earth, i.e. same gravity, atmospheric pressure, day length, etc.
I solved this by making the planet rotate slightly slower, added the same mass for the atmosphere (though tweaking the composition so that bigger creatures have more oxygen and can fly easier), and made the planetary core much denser than on Earth, which fixes the gravity problem, and adds a neat bonus of strong Aurora Borealis (through a stronger magnetosphere).
So, without further ado, here is the full scientific data of Andaril!
Planetary stats
- Diameter: 8,807.6 km
- Radius: 4,403.8 km
- Circumference: 27,670 km
- Surface area: 243M km2 (vs. Earth’s 510M km2)
- Population modifier (e.g., converting the population density/rarity of Earth creatures to Andaril, and vice versa): 48%
- Oceanic depth (avg): 4.5km (deepest point is 15km)
- Volume: 357B km3
- Mass: 2.85 * 1024 kg (48% of Earth’s mass)
- The higher density, as caused by more, heavier metals in the core (7.98 g/cm3 vs Earth’s 5.51 g/cm3), is what gives the planet the same gravity as Earth, despite the smaller size of the planet, albeit with a stronger magnetosphere
- Gravity: 9.81 m/s2
- Escape velocity: 9.29km/s (vs. Earth’s 11.18 km/s)
- Rotational speed: 1,153 km/h (equatorial) -> Days are 24h long
- Axial tilt: 18° -> milder seasons than on Earth (23.5°)
- Atmosphere: 1 Bar, 17°C, 35% O2, 61.8% N, 3% Ar, 0.2% CO2
- Moon(s): Andaril has a rocky moon the size of Pluto, with a diameter of 2,404km, and a distance from Andaril of 266,000 km

Andaril vs Earth Skellington
Before I traumatize you with heavy astrophysics and string theory, I want to mention that I FINALLY got the Skellington side story completed! You can now read it on the side-stories page of the wiki!
Centuries after serving as a pawn of the Allfather Demon, a boneborn warrior who survived the Chaos Times tells the story of how he gained a true soul, and how he learned what it meant to be alive as something tragically ‘different’, and ultimately, how he answered the questions of what, and who he is.

The World Stones, the 10D Hyper-Objects
Now, the heavy astrophysics, many-worlds-interpretation of quantum mechanics, and complex string theory! (Sorry…)
The World Stones are without a doubt immensely powerful primordial magical objects, but what if they still followed the laws of physics? Well, that was what I wanted to have them do, but… I had a whole list of problems to solve:
- The laws of thermodynamics
- The law of conservation of energy
- Energy requirements -> needs a ton of mass-energy
- How an object with such mass doesn’t collapse into a black hole
- How you can hold such an object in your hand like a stone
- The distinct glow of the stones
- Paradoxes involved with time manipulation (e.g., grandfather paradox)
- Time-travel and the spatial-drift problem (traveling back in time would need to account for planetary, solar, and galactic orbit)
- Visions of the past/future/other worlds, and how they could function
- Healing through time-reversal without violating either thermodynamics, causality, or any other physical law, nor causing any paradoxes
- The hard problem of consciousness itself…
So… Behold… The ‘totally-not-overcomplicated’ answer to all those problems! The World Stones are actually 10-dimensional hyper-objects!

3D wireframe projection (the 3D shadow) cast by the three World Stones rotating in every dimension (except 3D pitch). Now hear me out! This works for a whole list of reasons.
1. It allows the World Stones to have the equivalent mass of a dwarf galaxy, while keeping the apparent physical mass (and subsequent inertia) at the same size of a small pebble. This is fully within the bounds of string theory (which posits that while the other fundamental forces are “closed strings”, gravity might be an “open string”, capable of wandering into the higher dimensional “bulk”).
2. This also makes the objects fully indestructible (because the energy to destroy them requires the amount of energy to destroy a physical object with the mass of a galaxy)
3. It allows me to explain the distinct glows through Hawking Radiation (of the immense mass leaking through to the 3rd dimension)
4. It gives the stones perfect thermal superconductivity (becuase of the galactic thermal-mass)
5. It gives the Stones the energy (E=mc2) required for their abilities.
6. Most importantly, it explains how the Stones don’t collapse into black holes!
7. Being 10-dimensional objects, it also explains how they can change their shape (appearing bigger, smaller, a completely different shape, weight, etc.), which they do by merely altering how they intersect with the 3rd dimension (like how a sphere passing through a 2D plane becomes bigger and smaller depending on the intersected circle’s size).
Without being 10-dimensional objects, it would’ve also been quite difficult to explain the mechanics of their abilities; the absolute disintegration/destruction and creation out of thin air of the Stones of Destruction and Creation, would otherwise violate the Law of Conservation of Energy (can neither be created nor destroyed).
Instead of ‘destroying’ matter, the Stones of Destruction simply absorbs the energy/mass into its higher dimensional structure, while the Stone of Creation does the opposite, weaving matter out of the matter/energy it takes from its higher dimensional structure.
So, creation and destruction were somewhat simple to explain physically (hence them being “simple” Dekaspheres, i.e. 10-dimensional spheres), the Stone of Life & Time was a whole different beast…
The issue of time-travel, energy requirements, paradoxes, and consciousness was a bit tricky to solve, let me tell you that. In order to get the math working, I had to make the Stone of Life & Time be an even more complex object, a 10D Hyper-Horn-Torus with a singularity at its center (which functions as an antenna of sorts, a white-hole (opposite of a black hole) to the 0th dimension, which is the “point-field of consciousness“, the “fundamental unbound nothingness” that reality, and physics, is made of. So I could weave in Advaita Vedanta non-duality, obviously!).
Life, consciousness, awareness, intelligence, love, and all that it means to be truly alive, is given by the stone by connecting to this singularity and letting these “consciousness pixels” spew forth into the other dimensions.
The Stone gains its own intelligence and awareness (which is a requirement to process and intelligently function through the higher 4th, 5th, and 6th dimensions) by utilizing the accretion disc analogue of the white-hole, i.e. the pure consciousness flowing out from the center of the white-hole.
So, time travel?… First, let me give you a rundown of the many-worlds-interpretation of quantum mechanics. We exist in the 3rd dimension. The 4th dimension includes the axis of time, where past and future both exist in the present. The 5th dimension includes every possible course of events in THIS universe, whereas the 6th dimension includes every possible starting arrangement of the universe, i.e. every CONCEAVABLE universe.
To grant the user visions of the past or future, the stone merely pulls that information from the 4th dimension. Visions of other worlds moves that into the 5th or 6th dimension.
As for healing, since you can’t just grab a severed arm from yourself in the past to give it to yourself in the future (since then you create the Grandfather Paradox, where if you didn’t have the arm in the past anymore, you couldn’t have lost it in the first place), and grabbing it from a parallel 5th dimension would be quite cruel, I landed on the solution of the stone reading the quantum state of the 5th dimension, overwriting the host universe’s wave function (through quantum entanglement) to match that of the donor universe.
So essentially, if you lose an arm, the stone looks through the 5th dimension to another universe where you didn’t lose it (maybe you evaded a sword at the last minute), and overwrites the quantum-wave-state of your arm in your world to match that of the world where you never lost it, hence preventing the Grandfather paradox!
So… There’s a lot more to it than that, and a lot more information I added to the Stones’ wiki pages, but this post is already FAR too long, so I won’t bore you with the details.

- Planet/World, Magic System, Back from Hiatus – TWS
Planet/World, Magic System, New Characters, and More!
I am FINALLY back from hiatus with some big, meaningful updates! It’s been far too long, but now I finally have time (and energy) to continue working on this beautiful passion project of mine!
Progress on the actual book? Well… Could be better… I had to rewrite the whole thing since I wasn’t happy with it (perhaps a flaw of perfectionism…), but now I am back on track to continue the story, refined and better than ever!
Now enjoy the latest additions to the world/wiki!
Andaril (The Planet of TWS)
Finally I got around to creating and naming the spinning rock that TWS takes place on. Behold, Andaril!

It’s a small planet created by the God of TWS (Atlas), for the sole purpose of incubating his own power (which he distributed to the world as a substance known as Magilite, the very foundation of magic), to evolve into something greater, a power he may eventually need for his millennia-spanning battle against a rival God, the Satan of Earth (yes that one).
The name Andaril comes from the sanskrit words Anda (meaning “egg” or “celestial sphere“), Ri (meaning “to move/reach/rise“) and the hebrew word El (meaning “God“), which together makes it The Ascending Egg of God.
Through the millennia, the name Andaril has slowly morphed into Andril, or casually refered to simply as Ann.
Magic System (Magilite Plexus)
Oh boy, get ready for some neuroscience! Apologies in advance if I went overboard…
The very organ that makes magic possible, the Magilite Plexus! Placed smack dab in the only free space I could find in the brain, inside the ventricles (basically just pockets of CS fluid).
The magilite plexus is made up of three separate structures; two lateral magilite plexuses (LMP) that integrate information from other brain regions (e.g., memory), and the medial magilite plexus (MMP) that acts as a relay station, eventually directing the “magical commands” through the central canal of the brain stem to the rest of the body and its magilite pathways (i.e., blood vessels and nerves).

Without getting too into the technical details, magic in the world of TWS functions through pathways between the prefrontal cortex (decision making) and the primary visual cortex (visualization), with ties to the hippocampus (memory, which influences the “element”).
Also, since there are pathways between the hippocampus and the eyes, the element that a user has learned/awakened changes the crystalline structure of the iris -> the eyes show which element the user is capable of producing/manipulating (e.g., red=fire, blue=water).
Oh, almost forgot. The limbic system (emotions) also plays an important role in awakening magic, since a powerful affective (emotional) state is required to form the pathway/”groove” to the magilite plexus. This means that strong emotions, such as those when your life is threatened, serve as the trigger for awakening magic.
Evolutionarily, magic is costly, so it should only be used when the alternative is worse. Reckless use will burn out the individual’s cells and brain tissue, resulting in internal bleeding, seizures, and eventually… death.

Red elemental eye (fire magic) After visualizing how you want the magic executed (visual cortex) and willfully activating your magic (prefrontal cortex), the signal goes to the peripheral nervous system (and blood vessels), where the magical potential inside the users bodily magilite is converted into another form (e.g., fire, light, electricity, matter creation/manipulation).
While humans have a rudimentary/simple monomagilite plexus, meaning they can only use/awaken a single element of magic throughout their lives, races such as the Albinar have a magilite polyplexus, allowing them to use multiple elements of magic simultaneously.

Abscondita (Albinar) New Characters (Alvar Vaerin & Skellington)
I also added two new fascinating characters to the world of TWS!:
- Alvar Vaerin: former Elite Warrior of the First Legion, Blue Moon, now a simple elven janitor of the East Itero Lumare Academy, secretly tasked with guarding and monitoring Kiryu Ardoladd (Renji Caldara) during his stay at the academy.
- Mister Skellington: a curious fellow to put it lightly, being the only Boneborn, the only demon at that, that has gained true sentience after coming into contact with the Stone of Life & Time many centuries ago. Today, he spends his days taking care of a group of orphans, learning all about what it means to be alive. (hint, this is the next side story I’m working on!)

Alvar Vaerin, former Elite Warrior of the First Legion, now janitor at the East Itero Lumare Academy
Mister Skellington: the only demon truly alive, an unlikely adoptive father Footnote on AI usage
While the rising hate for AI art has me on my toes, ready to get cancelled any minute, I still firmly believe generative AI can be a valuable tool for visualizing what I write about, a way to ENHANCE my creativity by letting me focus on actually writing (my main passion), while visualizing it through carefully curated images. And before you take out your guns and knives, let me explain!
Don’t get me wrong, I hate AI slop as much as the next guy, and the environmental impacts have to be accounted for (despite being largely overestimated), but like any tool, I believe it’s the mind behind the brush that makes all the difference.
Generating images of people with multiple arms and three faces, for the sole purpose of making money, lacking any curation process whatsoever is the problem, NOT the careful, curated process of putting words into an image through hundreds of iterations, until it matches your creative vision.
I am the director of the output, I select what matches my vision, and thus, I am equally the “artist” as a movie director is the creator of their movie. Did they act in it? Did they make the props, edit the scenes? Perhaps not, but they did use the tools and delegation at their disposal to make their vision come true. And that, my friends, is exactly where I stand with AI art.
Ps, that’s enough “anti-AI-hate” ranting for today, ya’ll can rest assured that the images of the Magilite Plexus and the world map were created entirely by yours truly!
Ps 2 (no, not PlayStation 2!), I made the Sixth Legion Elite Squad into physical 3D miniatures! Pretty cool right?! (and Rodrick is even correctly made to scale)

- Demons of Etheria + 2 New Races! – TWS
Two New Races + 9 New Types of Demons Added to the Wiki!
Been a while again, huh, so here’s a nice update package!
I added two new humanoid races to the mortal plane (where the humans live). Both are naturally fully fleshed out with their own appearances, characteristics, culture etc, which you can find on their wiki pages.
As well as the two new races, we also have a whopping nine new demon species that live “in harmony” in Etheria. Stay tuned for book two and three to see those guys in action (as long as I finish the first one first, heh).
Two new races
First, we have the reclusive, urban-legend-producing Nautians, fully aquatic humanoids with blue skin and yellow eyes, not to be confused with the Navi from Avatar, these guys can’t breathe air! They live in symbiosis with the rest of the aquatic fauna, such as sharks, whales, etc. These guys have a natural ability to use water magic to propel themselves throughout the ocean. In terms of their culture, they worship the great blue Ancient Dragon of the South.
Next, we have the Insectoids, genetically engineered half-human, half-butterflies, created using the Stone of Creation in ancient times as a way to punish criminals. Somehow, this race of insect-like people were able to reproduce (albeit by laying eggs), and survive multiple millennia!
- Nautian
- Entirely aquatic, reclusive humanoids with blue skin and glowing yellow eyes, characterized by water magic affinity and symbiosis with marine fauna.
- Insectoid
- Genetically engineered half-human, half-butterfly hybrid species with a social structure centered around individuals’ wing-size and ultraviolet color appeal.
Demons of Etheria
As there are so many new demons added, ranging from four-meter-tall walking battering rams to flying gremlins the size of a housecat, and each with varying degrees of sentience and cognition (from animals to smart human-like demons), I decided to have semi short descriptions for each of them instead of a longer rundown.
Click on a name below to get to their wiki page!
- Fledgeling
- Something in between a housecat and a dragon, with the attitude of a chihuahua. Fledgelings have wings, sharp claws, and a keen eyesight, all tools they use when hunting smaller prey.
- Boneborn
- Ratling
- Small, highly agile, rat-like demons with keen olfactory senses and a natural knack for stealth; they serve as the assassins and scouts of Etheria.
- Barkskin
- Demons composed entirely out of animated wood. They are highly resistant to slashing and crushing damage, but vulnerable to fire, and of course axes… Soaking these guys in water makes them harder to burn.
- Arachnoid
- Spiderlike humanoid demons. Their six extra appendages (arms) stemming from their back enable them to climb walls or wield multiple weapons with great speed and ferocity.
- Minotaurid
- 3-metre-tall, heavily muscled, bull-like demons with a culture emphasizing the survival of the fittest through tests of physical combat.
- Chaos Golem
- Towering constructs of obsidian or magnetite, created to be tanky, living battering rams. Chaos Golems are capable of knocking down even most stone walls, and are nearly impervious to slashing, piercing, and magical damage. They can however be shattered with sufficient force.
- Spectral
- Rare, Pseudo-physical shadowy beings; half shadow, half matter. They’re the fastest of the demons, able to match even Captains and Commanders in terms of speed. On top of that, spectrals are capable of phasing through objects (e.g., incoming swords and arrows).
- Culan
- Rare, horned and single-eyed demons specifically made to have a high magical potential (mana), allowing them to wield potent magic. Unlike humans, they are not limited to a single element by their magilite plexus.

Tweaks + New Second Name for the Main Character
I also tweaked a bunch of minor things, character entries, names, history etc. to make them as accurate and cohesive as possible.
As well as that, I changed the main character’s (Kiryu Ardoladd’s) second name, the name he gets when he becomes a citizen of the Lumare Empire;
Noe Kazuki ( = Mist, hope for peace), has now been changed to Renji Caldara (Ren = lotus/samurai warrior/love/goodness, caldera = lake formed when a volcano erupts and collapses in on itself).
The name Renji Caldara better reflects his character and symbolizes his journey, on top of sounding better in other languages. On top of that, it allows for pet names (such as Ren) to be possible, adding to the versatility and ease of pronouncing the name.
Other than that, I added some extra info and pictures for The Allfather Demon, the main antagonist of the series, so be sure to check that out 😉

Sentinel (Elite Warrior of the First Legion)

- History & Moths of Destiny – TWS
Added Moths of Destiny & Historical events to the wiki
Update on the book
The second edited draft of the prologue is now completed! On top of that, we have a brand new cover image for the first book! 🙂

History
I fleshed out the history section of the wiki and added two comprehensive pages about the two most important historical events,
1. The Chaos Times, during which a third of the global population perished to the demons that invaded the mortal plane, and…
2. The Lumare-Kaligo war, which has claimed over 300 million lives over its 400-year history, and is still ongoing as of the start of the first book (The World Stones – The Stone of Life & Time).
Moths of Destiny
I added two new lore-important insects to the wiki, one as an omen of death and disaster, the Midnight Moth, and the other an omen of good fortune and success, the Mirror Moth.
New Plant
Tied to the Mirror Moth, I added a new plant to the wiki; the beautifully vibrant indigo blue flower, and national flower of the Lumare Empire, the Royals Rose.
Maria Quinn – love interest of the main character
I now added a wiki page for the love interest of the main character, the village angel and granddaughter of the village chief of Ironstraw, Maria Quinn.

Midnight Moth, the omen of disaster
Mirror Moth (taxonomically correct name, Mirror Butterfly), the omen of fortune and success.

Maria Quinn, granddaughter of the chief of Ironstraw village, love interest of Kiryu Ardoladd.
Royals Rose, the national flower of the Lumare Empire, worth 30 SLU (300€) per flower
Depiction of a destroyed city during the Chaos Times after a portal to Etheria opened up in the middle of the town square.
Portal from/to the plane of Etheria, the domain of the demons, ruled by The Allfather Demon.
Large scale battle during the Lumare-Kaligo war, which has claimed over 300 million lives over the past 400 years.
Sawdust was frequently mixed into flour when baking bread when resources were scarce during the Century of Sorrow (years 15-100 L.T.). - Sixth Legion Elite Squad – TWS
Sixth Legion Elite Squad added to the wiki
I now added all 10 of the Sixth Legion Elite Warriors to the wiki!
This is the squad where Renji Caldara (Kiryu Ardoladd), i.e. the main character of The World Stones novel trilogy is in; now every one of his comrades has their very own comprehensive wiki page!
We have eccentric characters such as Rosa Lovewood, the nutjob who loves her steam rifle like one would love a person, the meathead and self-proclaimed God of Muscle, Rodrick Stoneforge, and to contrast him – quite possibly the smartest individual in the whole Lumare Empire, if not the world, with an IQ of 195, Apollo Vertarius.
All of these 10 characters now have their very own detailed backstories, goals, and character descriptions, as well as some extra info about their personalities or quirks.
And as a bonus, we now have two new in-depth explained abilities in the wiki; magilite sensing (sensing magilite in a three-dimensional way) as famously performed by Captain Kyros, and magistrength enhancing, a way to enhance physical resistance and muscular strength.
The Sixth Legion Elite Squad
- Captain of the Sixth Legion, Kyros – Mole
- The leader of the Sixth Legion Elite Squad.
- Renji Caldara (Kiryu Ardoladd) – Phoenix
- The main character of TWS, Kaligo Commander turned Lumare Elite Warrior.
- Rune Stormhart – Drake
- The most determined of the Sixth Legion, the zero to hero warrior who started life in the slums.
- Hitori Arglade – Fox
- The gifted swordsman who trained directly under Captain Wolf.
- Cecilia Mirabon – Hare
- The bratty and ideological royal.
- Apollo Vertarius – Tortoise
- The smartest man alive, a famous scientist in the Lumare Empire.
- Ethan Barak – Mouse
- The younger brother of Captain Stormbringer, the one who will inherit the Barak Trading Conglomerate (worth 80B €).
- Rosa Lovewood – Swallow
- The nutjob mechanic/sniper that is in love with her steam rifle.

I now added the website foundation for adding new kingdoms, diseases, stuff for the world of Etheria, and a lot more! I still haven’t added the content itself, the creatures and people themselves, and I’m still working hard on making a good foundation for the website. This is all to make it easier to add new content in the future, so STAY TUNED! 🙂

- TWS Post – 25.1.24
Estimated completion date
I am currently writing the first version of the book (The World Stones – The Stone of Life & Time), and it still has an estimated 2/3 left until it is done and can be sent to editors and eventually published. I estimate that I’ll be done writing the first edition of the book sometime late 2024, but I have no clue how long editors or publishing could take following that.

- TWS Post – 28.1.24
