Description
Hitori is an expert swordsman, having trained directly under Captain Wolf for a whole year.
He is highly prideful, looking down on those weaker than himself. As such, he is quite egotistical. His pride is partly justified, as he is legitimately one of the top students academically, and the most skilled warrior in the Sixth Legion Elite Squad both in terms of magical control and swordsmanship.
Hitori’s biggest flaws are his pride and overreliance on swordsmanship. Because he dislikes unarmed combat, he is outmatched when it comes to physical strength and unarmed combat. He sees elegance as much more important than brutish strength (like that of Rodrick)
Backstory
Hitori grew up in a middle-class family and was fascinated by swordsmanship ever since he was a toddler, always watching the adults training, and taking the lessons he learned to good use during playfighting with other kids. He won these play duels even against older kids, but frequently got into trouble for not pulling his sword swings.
By age twelve, his parents bought him his first real sword. He practiced with it relentlessly, nearly every day. He read books on swordsmanship, trying to replicate the moves against trees outside.
Eventually, when he turned 15, his parents enrolled him into a swordsmanship school. There, he continued dominating even against his older peers. Becuase of his prowess with the sword, he was personally tutored by the grandmaster, a retired Elite Warrior.
When the grandmaster had taught everything he could to Hitori, he contacted the Captain of the Fourth Legion, Wolf, and arranged for him to tutor Hitori.
From the age of 20-21, Hitori trained directly under Captain Wolf himself, learning his unique form of swordsmanship, as well as awakening his magic through Wolf’s grueling training, all so he could utilize it for the more advanced swordsmanship techniques, such as cleaving boulders in two.
Counter to Hitori’s own desires, he got enrolled into the Sixth, not the Fourth Legion Elite Squad. He is still quite upset about that, as he prides himself on his swordsmanship skills, and wanted more than anything to continue learning more from Captain Wolf.
Hitori is one to take every advantage he can get, thus, he pestered Captain Kyros about magilite sensing every day after becaming part of the Sixth Legion Elite, forcing Kyros to teach him how he too could master it.
His pestering bore fruit, as he learned magilite sensing within a single year, and has already honed it to a greater degree than most Elite Warriors.
Hitori’s goal now is to become the next Captain of the Sixth Legion, all so that he could get closer to Wolf and learn more advanced swordsmanship techniques from him, to one day beat him in a duel, proving himself the better swordsman.

Hitori wields a katana made out of low-percentage adamantite-steel (4%). He has also learned magilite sensing from Captain Kyros.

Hitori’s magical potential is quite high, higher than around half of the Sixth Legion Elite (higher than Rodrick, Rosa, Tania, Adam, and Rune)
