Description

Etheria is a corrupted cavern-type world, devoid of all natural life. Extremely powerful artificial monsters roam these lands, battling and feasting on each other.

The true structure of Etheria is that of a toroidal manifold (a 3D mobius-strip type world) that folds in on itself three-dimensionally. The Radius of this sphere-like world is around 100 kilometres, but because the entirety of Etheria is cavernous, the demons can utilize the volume fully.

Because of the porous/cavernous structure, only around 50% of the volume of this sphere is filled with stone and metals (equates to around 2.09*10¹⁵ cubic meters of stone and minerals). This gives a volume of around 4 million cubic kilometres, and a mass of around 6.27*10¹⁸ kg (1/150th of the dwarf planet Ceres; around the same mass as the asteroid Juno).

As for the question of “where” Etheria is, it is neither an asteroid orbiting a sun, nor underground, but instead Etheria is found floating in a separate, artificial “Micro-Brane” suspended in the Higher-Dimensional Bulk. For physics context: the 3D universe exists on a three-dimensional “membrane”/brane, with “The Bulk” being the space between universes (otherwise known as hyperspace).

The Allfather Demon, Yami Murasaki, used the Stone of Creation to pinch off a tiny piece of spacetime, blowing a microscopic “bubble” outside the main universe. This makes Etheria disconnected from the 3D universe entirely, like a dust particle floating 1mm above a two-dimensional piece of paper.

The portals between Etheria and Andaril are like holes punched through the dimensional bulk.

Inhabitants

The inhabitants of Etheria are the so called “Demons of Etheria”. Beside the monster-like demons of Etheria, the most powerful (often sentient) demons are divided into three groups.

1. The Great Three

The Great Three are the most powerful demons in Etheria, ruling over all the others. Out of the Great Three, The Allfather Demon is the overlord, acting as the ruler of Etheria.

2. Upper Demons

The Upper Demons all rank at Dragon on the Threat Scale, making them extremely powerful, being among the strongest beings in the world.

3. Lower Demons

The Lower Demons, most ranking around Goliath and Demon on the Threat Scale, are a force to be reckoned with, being as strong or stronger than the Lumare Empire Captains.

Creatures of Etheria

Below the Lower Demons are all the other creatures that inhabit the world of Etheria. They tend to range from Threat Scale Wolf to Minotaur.
