Description
The Elder, Raizen Sorakami, is the oldest living person in the world. He is the only person alive that has physically seen the creator himself, Atlas.
He is fully enlightened, having practiced meditation for thousands of years. He is extremely wise, having grasped the true meaning of the stones.
He is a master of the elemental magics, especially of light magic. While weaker than with the stone, he is still capable of using a weaker form of Life & Time magic, even without the stone.
Backstory
Raizen Sorakami was created by Atlas himself, shaped out of pure nothingness. He was born with the body of a twenty-year-old, and was tasked with a mission of utmost importance; guarding the stones, guarding the balance of the world.
Within twenty years, he became the High-Elder of the Clan of Life & Time (the albinar clan tasked with guarding the Stone of Life & Time)
During a period of roughly twenty years, he wielded the stone with grace, using it to grow vast fields of flowers and fruit.
After the events that transpired around the Stone of Creation, Raizen pledged to never let something like that happen again. He pledged to destroy the Stone of Life & Time, deeming it far too great of a threat in the wrong hands.
He alone went deep into the Lost Forest with the stone, planning on destroying it once and for all. He tried and tried, using all forms of magic that he knew, incinerating the very ground itself in the process.
Ultimately, he failed. Try as he could, he could not destroy the stone. Instead, he made the decision to bury it deep in the hidden lake within the forest, before telling his clan that he destroyed it. There the stone lay, for thousands and thousands of years, presumed to be destroyed by the rest of the world.
Without the stone, the Clan of Life & Time ceased to be, many members fleeing the onslaught of humanity. Raizen himself retreated into the mountains, where he has now lived for thousands of years.
For a thousand years, he was nervous that someone would find the stone. Nobody ever did, until now. He has lived in the mountains for millennia, meditating, contemplating life and secretly mastering Life & Time magic.

The Elder, Raizen, is the only being capable of using life & time magic without the Stone of Life & Time.
On top of that, he is a master of all the elemental forms of magic, especially of light magic. He is an expert swordsman, practicing a unique form of kendo, thoroughly morphed after thousands of years since Atlas taught him.
Misc information
The locals of the mountains view him as a prophetic god, and he regularly holds lectures about the history of the world, about its metaphysics and life in general, for the locals to hear.
