Description

Spectrals are the fastest of all the demonic species, capable of outpacing nearly any human or demonic warrior (except Captains, Commanders, Lower and Upper Demons).

Spectrals’ bodies are pseudophysical, made out of a unique substance in between physical matter and immaterial, shadow-like energy (darkness magic). This unique composition enables their immense speed and other extraordinary abilities, on top of giving them their shadow-like appearance.

Because their bodies are partly non-physical, spectrals can enter physical bodies (i.e. people) and possess them from within (as in the case of Qune Astra).

Spectrals, given they have enough magical potential, are also able to change their forms at will, taking on nearly any appearance and serving as perfect spies or assassins (as with Ishana, Commander of the Third Flame).

History

The very first spectral was none other than Q (Qune Astra), now the Commander of the First Flame. Becuse of Qune’s, and other spectrals’ effectiveness during the Chaos Times, the Allfather Demon has started focusing quite a bit on creating more spectrals.

However, as spectrals are made out of such a unique substance and tend to have plenty of magical potential, they are also more difficult to create, even with the help of the Stone of Creation.

Other Information

As spectrals are partly made out of magic itself, physical weapons have little to no effect on them. Really the only way to take out a spectral is through the use of magic. This makes spectrals an absolute nightmare to anyone who hasn’t awakened their magical potential (e.g., normal soldiers, civilians), making them effectively unkillable.
