A grey organization of serious contract warriors, assassins, and monster hunters. They do the gritty work that official Lumare organizations refuse to do.
The organization, currently run by the famous monster-hunter Nero Blackwood, takes its role quite seriously. It’s members are obligated to do their contracts by the book, to avoid needless bloodshed or risk being banished.
Function
The Order of the Black Rose does the dirty work that the official Lumare organizations and the Lumare military refuses to, doesn’t have time for, or can’t afford to do.
These tasks include hunting drakes, goblins, or assassinating rogue politicians and royals.
History
The order started exclusively as an organization of assassin’s, and remained that way for around 80 years. Thanks to the current leader, Nero Blackwood, the organization has grown over the years and taken over new branches, as contract warriors, monster killers, and more.
Misc
Nero Blackwood is the current, and most influential leader of the Order of the Black Rose, and has fundamentally changed many aspects of the organization, having for instance taken it away from illegality.
