Magical potential, otherwise known as mana, is the amount of usable magical energy in things.
The magical potential of creatures, monsters, and people is determined by the amount of magilite present in their blood. How much of that magical potential that one can harness is partly determined by inherent skill, and partly by hard work and training.

While a creature’s magical potential is limited by how much magilite is in its blood, it is theoretically possible to absorb more magilite from the environment.
