Captain of the 6:th legion, Mole, Kyros the Blind, Kyros Artorius Silvanus

Description
While fully blinded, Kyros has trained himself to be able to sense his surroundings in a three-dimensional way by detecting the subtle movements and reactions of magilite within his body; this ability is called magilite sensing.
Kyros has mastered magilite sensing; his spatial awareness isn’t limited by sight, as he has no blind spots and can detect threats from all around himself. In fact, he can sense movements and magic before they’re visible to the naked eye.
His mastery of magilite sensing makes him quite effective in battle, despite being fully blind. His water magic is also decently strong when compared to the other Captains, though weaker than the top 5 (except Wolf’s)
Kyros is also quite wise and strategical, being very skilled at leadership and logistics.
His biggest strength is his teaching skill. He is one of the few Captains who are actually good at teaching.
Backstory
Kyros was born into a family whose ancestor was a legend. He got his second and last name, Artorius Silvanus, from the once legendary warrior hundreds of years ago.
Kyros started training swordsmanship and tactics at a young age, with the goal of ultimately becoming a Captain. He trained and trained, and enlisted into the Lumare Academy, studying magic and leadership.
His expertis was quickly recognized, and he was enlisted as an Elite Warrior of the Sixth Legion.
He proved quite effective, surviving countless dangerous missions, but was ultimately gravely injured during a battle against around a dozen Chosen Warriors, and even a Commander of the Flame.
Kyros was saved by his Captain, who sacrificed himself to protect his Elite Squad. Kyros was evacuated and received intensive emergency medical treatment, ending up in a two-month-long coma.
Over the following months after waking up, Kyros recovered quite well. He fully recovered his ability to walk and talk, but his eyesight was fully gone.
Kyros was distraught when he learned that his Captain and many of his Elite Warrior comrades had perished in the battle, or succumbed to their injuries. He was even more devastated realizing that he was going to have to retire early because of his injuries.
He got an early retirement and left to go live in a cottage in the mountains. There, he spent two years secretly training, meditating and contemplating life and magic, becoming quite wise by doing so, and learning to feel magilite within his body.
In the mountains, Kyros trained himself to detect the faintest magilite reactions happening inside of his body, realizing that he could use this new sense to “see” in a uniquely three-dimensional way.
He spent another six months honing this ability before revealing it to his two assistants who were there with him in the mountains, helping him ddeal with everyday tasks.
Kyros challenged one of his assistants to a duel with wooden swords, saying he would receive all of his wealth if his assistant managed to land a hit on him.
His assistant laughed at this proposal, but was quickly shocked when he learned that the retired Elite Warrior easily deflected his blows, seemingly with no blind spots.
Kyros trained and trained, to the point that his new “sight” was just as good, if not even better than his eyesight had ever been, now with no blind spots.
Kyros returned to the military, back as an Elite Warrior of the Sixth Legion, surprising his old comrades with his sightless sight.
As his old comrades fell one by one, Kyros survived, being promoted to Captain once his new one also died.
As Captain, Kyros dedicated himself to becoming a prolific teacher, trying to teach his Elite Warriors the ability to sense magilite just like he does, with the hopes that they might survive better than his comrades did.
Special attributes, items
Through mastery of magilite sensing, Kyros is able to sense anything with magilite in it (people, magic, and the environment), because they elicit a faint effect on the magilite within the body.
Kyros has honed this ability to such a degree that he can sense/”see” even better than he ever did with his eyesight. He can tell how much magical potential someone has, as well as predict his opponents’ moves before they can be detected through the other senses. He can even detect a simple housefly, a feather or a leaf, from up to 10 meters away.
Misc information
Kyros is exceptionally humble and wise, much like Captain of the Fourth Legion, Wolf. In fact, their similarities have resulted in the two Captains sharing an almost brotherly bond, often found philosophizing together.
Kyros loves being out in nature and enjoying the peace and quiet, possibly influenced by his time in retirement in the quiet mountains.
