The process through which water magic can be used to heal injuries.
Description
A technique/process through which water magic can be used to reattach damaged tissue, preventing otherwise fatal injuries from getting worse, for example by stopping bleeding.
While it doesn’t heal per se, the damaged tissue isn’t regenerated, it can still be used to slow the degradation of fatal injuries, ultimately preventing death.
Hydrocellular reconstruction, or rather reattachment, works by using the inherent energy in magilite to elicit reactions on a cellular level, causing the surrounding cells to “reattach” themselves, thus closing wounds.
Issues arise if the damage is too grave and there aren’t enough surrounding cells to close the wounds fully, or if entire organs have been destroyed. In this respect, hydrocellular reconstruction is much weaker than healing magic, and cannot for instance replace missing organs and/or limbs.
Usage
Extremely rare technique, only used by around a hundred individuals across the entire world.
Generally, hydrocellular reconstruction is almost exclusively practiced on the battlefield to prevent soldiers from dying, but sometimes also in esteemed hospitals.
Misc
