Description
The youngest son of one of the greatest tradesmen that the world has ever seen, Ashir Barak.
As Ashir cast Ethan’s older brother, Anil, out of the Barak family, Ethan is the one who shall inherit the massive 8,000,000 ALU‘s worth (80B €) Barak Trading Conglomerate.
Ethan is much softer and kinder than his brother Anil, the Captain of the Third Legion, but also a lot weaker both physically and in terms of magical potential.
While Ethan himself is quite powerful, especially compared to the average magic user, let alone the average soldier; because he compares himself to his brother, he views himself as quite weak and timid.
Backstory
When he was younger, Ethan was forced by his father to study business at the Lumare Academy, with the hopes of him eventually taking over his father’s massive business empire.
Ethan promised his father that he would take over the Barak Trading Conglomerate once his father passed away. This promise has gained him his father’s favour, as he regularly sponsors Ethan’s lavish equipment and study costs.
After finishing the business program at the Lumare Academy, Ethan decided to start studying magic, also enrolling into the Sixth Legion Elite Squad in the meantime.
As he is quite intelligent, in the top 1% in terms of IQ (135), he has a pretty easy time studying both business and magic, excelling in both.
Ethan has become quite powerful with his magic, having learned quite advanced ways of using his water magic, as well as honing his control over it to quite a high degree.
His current goal is to increase his understanding of politics and advanced systems, so that he could better navigate the financial world once his father passes away.
While the war between the Kaligo and Lumare Empires isn’t that big of an obstacle in terms of business for the Barak Trading Conglomerate, Ethan still hopes that he might help end the war, further boosting the future business opportunities between the empires.

Ethan wears extremely expensive royalite-dyed magilite infused robes that let him channel his magical potential easier, and infuse his robes with water magic for boosted protection.

Ethan lives in his brother’s shadow, as his brother is already famous as a celebrity within the Lumare Empire, and frequently boasts great achievements that Ethan could only dream of.
Because he compares himself to his exceptional brother, Ethan has adopted an extremely humble attitude, viewing himself as no more special than anyone else around him.
