The ability to cease aging, or at least slow it down to an incredibly slow rate.

Prevalence: only achieved by a handful of people (under 50)
Description
Using the power of magic (specifically magilite), it is possible to protect the body from age-related wear and tear, effectively slowing down the process of aging.
Non-artificial age stasis
Non-artificial age stasis requires a near constant flow of magic into every fiber of the body, and as such, it requires superhuman amounts concentration and training to keep up. For humans, it’s practically impossible. For Abscondita, who have a higher degree of control over their magical potential, it’s possible with the right amount of training.
With non-artificial age stasis, it’s possible to reverse aging to 1/100th of its natural speed (1 biological year = 100 chronological years). With more practice and training, more effective stasis is possible.

Artificial age stasis
Artificial age stasis, discovered by Gregor the Mad during his human experiments, involves injecting oneself with a liquid solution containing magilite, straight into the bloodstream.
This highly experimental and dangerous procedure usually leads to the body shutting down, resulting in instant death. Some, however, are able to withstand the energetic pressure of the magilite injections.
Once a year, it’s necessary to repeat the procedure, injecting another dose of magilite solution into the bloodstream. By doing this once a year, it’s possible to slow down aging to 1/20th of its natural speed (1 biological year = 20 chronological years)

Misc
The very same mechanism that age stasis works by (i.e. protecting the cells from damage), can be extended to allow the user to protect themselves from taking damage in battle, effectively giving the user more resistance to physical and magical attacks.
The most famous users of the age stasis technique are Gregor the Mad and Doppler Eckman.
