Captain of the Fourth Legion (Wolf Legion), Shinrō Tatsuya, Water Demon, The most skilled swordsman of the Lumare Empire.

Description
Wolf (real name Shinrō) is the most skilled swordsman in the entirety of the Lumare Empire.
While his magical potential isn’t as high as the other of the top 5 Captains, he compensates for this with his incredible swordsmanship, as well as his superhuman intuition and reflexes.
Wolf has honed his body, his senses, and his very own swordsmanship style to such a degree that he is virtually unmatched in close-quarters combat.
Backstory
Shinrō grew up as an orphan in a spiritual monastery, spending his childhood and early teens helping the monks, and observing them meditating.
During this time, he picked up meditation and contemplation as a habit, that he still regularly practices to this day.
When Shinrō was just 14, the monastery was attacked by bandits. He desperately tried to fight back but was utterly powerless. He watched as the people he saw as his family were killed in front of him. He was beaten and left in the burning monastery to die.
Shinrō survived, almost died of starvation but learned to scavenge and hunt his own food. He lived in the mountains all on his own, meditating and contemplating life. While looking at the stars at night and contemplating life, he made the decision to become the strongest swordsman that the world has ever seen, so that he could protect those he loved.
He started with a simple stick, making up his own swordsmanship style and practicing it in the mountains.
A year later, he decided to join a swordsmanship school, learning its styles and implementing them into his own. He was a natural prodigy, easily defeating even the seasoned students.
He grew cocky and overconfident, but quickly learnt to be humble when he came face to face with the bandits that had destroyed his monastery.
He fought valiantly and defeated around a dozen grunts, before the bandit boss put him in his place. His sword was split, and he was just about to be executed by the bandit boss.
In that moment, his magic awakened, and he managed to escape by a hair, running for kilometers and kilometers into the mountains.
The following years went by quickly, Shinrō continued to hone his swordsmanship, now enhanced by his magic. He joined around a dozen different swordsmanship schools, training with the grandmasters themselves, before coming to the realization that he needed something more to ascend to further heights of swordsmanship.
He spent months contemplating and meditating, honing his magic and swordsmanship to an unprecedented level, learning from nature, and the world itself.
Now a true demon of the sword, Shinrō tracked the bandit boss down to his hideout, fighting through his brutes and grunts before striking down the leader himself.
The bandit grunts, who barely had time to see his afterimage, thought a pack of wolves had attacked the camp, and screamed, “Wolf!”. This is when Shinrō gained the nickname Wolf.
Following this event, Shinrō found himself without a tangible goal, and wandered from city to city, contemplating what to do with his life, other than hone his swordsmanship.
Whether by fate or fluke luck, a Captain stumbled upon him, and was dumbfounded by his aura of strength and wisdom. The Captain wanted to test his strength, and asked Shinrō to spar with him.
Shinrō, then a nobody, managed to defeat the then Captain of the Third Legion, knocking him onto his ass in front of a crowd of people. The Captain couldn’t believe his eyes; a warrior of such skill and power, simply wandering the streets.
The Captain offered him a position as an Elite Warrior, and Shinrō accepted.
Months went by, and during a particularly bloody battle, while facing multiple Commanders of the Flame, the Captain of the Third Legion was slain. Shinrō fought valiantly, and managed to drive back the Commanders, securing victory for the Lumare forces.
Shinrō was instantly promoted to Captain of the Third Legion, and become an instant rolemodel for the people, both for his skill and wisdom.
He is still today the Captain of the Third Legion, and is still honing his swordsmanship and magic to an even more incredible level.
