Description
The most successful mouse-like species in the world – a scraggy-haired mouse that blends into the environment, be it mossy or rocky. Their thick fur protects them from predators and serves as effective insulation in colder climates.
While they are harmless and generally avoid humans, they are a common pest on farmlands (not so much in urban environments).
Behaviour
A quick-witted critter, speedy and devious by nature, the tuft mice are hard to spot and even harder to catch.
Diet
The tuft mice eat various seeds, plants, and small insects that they find in the forests and mountains.
