Description
The silvershell crab is one of the most successful organisms in the desert regions of the world. It’s silvery microscopic hairs protecting it from the blazing sun, allowing it to keep moving during the day.
While it’s not dangerous per se, if it’s hungry or swarming during the mating period, it will attack unprovoked.
The silvershell crab has a very thick exoskeleton, almost impenetrable by steel weaponry. Because of its rugged form, these crabs are often used in gladiatorial combat.
Behaviour
The silvershell crab wanders the deserts, looking for shrubs and vegetation to consume, as well as scavenging whatever dead bodies lay in the rocky desert areas.
Diet
Mainly eats various shrubs and desert vegetation, as well as carcasses. There are however a few reports of these crabs attacking people wandering the deserts.
