Commander of the Sixth Flame, Sloth, Flashfire, Kael Flashfire
Description
A younger brotherly figure for Kiryu. When Obsidian, Kiryu, and Grim were still Chosen Warriors, they were often sent on missions together, developing a tight brotherly bond, each keeping each others’ backs.
Obsidian’s lower face is completely burned, almost to the bone, which is why he wears a face cover. Because of this, he talks in a slightly muffled voice.
Obsidian is quite reserved and quiet (in a depressed way), only speaking when he has to, and when he does, he always talks in a crude vulgar way, swearing a lot. The only two people that he can casually talk to are Kiryu and Grim.
He fights using an unorthodox method of rapid movement; spinning his blades in his hands at superhuman speeds. His blades move faster than the any normal person can perceive, which lets him easily bypass any normal combatants defenses to strike at the vitals.
He is also exceptionally fast, earning him the nickname; flashfire. On top of that, he has an exceptionally high magical potential for someone that isn’t a royal.
Backstory
An orphan adopted into the Kaligo Military, he fought for years alongside his good friends Kiryu and Grim, being promoted to Commander of the Sixth Flame a year after Kiryu became a Commander.
Even as Commanders, Kiryu, Obsidian, and Grim were frequently sent on high-value missions together, further tightening their brotherly bond.
After Kiryu’s supposed death, Obsidian got vengeful and depressed, no longer holding back in battle, brutalizing his enemies in an attempt to relieve his rage over his fallen friend. He has but one goal, to avenge his friend, to kill the current Royal Wizard, Kline Snowden, no matter what it takes.
Who knows how he might react to finding out Kiryu is actually still alive, and that he is now an Elite Warrior in the enemies empire.

Wields two curved adamantite-steel daggers that are tinted crimson. Obsidian is also extremely proficient in magistrength enhancing, using the ability to further enhance his speed.
Misc information
Because Obsidian is so reserved and because he doesn’t have a family, he doesn’t really have anyone else close to him except Kiryu and Grim, his two closest friends. He regularly feels quite lonely, and longs for more friends.
Obsidian is highly serious, never joking around and always doing what has to be done. He follows commands quite religiously as he values valor and achievements very highly.
Obsidian really loves cats, but he can’t tell that to anyone for fear of being embarrassed or made fun of.
His real name is Kael, and he took the surname Flashfire because people started calling him that. While many in the Lumare Empire refer to him as Flashfire, the Commanders and his Chosen Warriors refer to him as Obsidian.
