Granddaughter of the chief of Ironstraw village, The Angel of Ironstraw
Description
The sweetheart of the village of Ironstraw, Maria has been quite popular with the boys in her village, many of them vowing to marry her one day.
She is exceptionally beautiful, almost like an angel with blond hair like the setting sun and blue eyes like the morning sky. She has a relatively small frame, but is quite fit from working on the farm most of the days.
She has an extremely kind heart, possibly as a way to cope with the loss of her parents and little brother, who died during the war when Kiryu Ardoladd attacked the village of Ossaan with his legion.
She helps anyone she can, and frequently travels to help and donate materials to the villages which were destroyed because of the war.
Backstory
Born in the village of Ossaan, she lived there most of her life, tending to the wheat fields and animals of the farm.
Eventually, Kiryu Ardoladd came with his legion and destroyed the village, killing 70% of the villagers and burning almost all of the buildings. During this attack, Maria’s parents and little brother were all killed, burning to death in the inferno.
Maria and the remaining villagers that managed to escape, evacuated to the village of Ironstraw, where Uncle Quinn (Maria’s grandfather) took them all in, offering protection, housing and work.
Maria now lives with her grandfather, taking care of his farm and animals, even travelling to the villages that had been ravaged by the events of the war (especially the villages of Ossaan and Ascoth) and helping them rebuild with the help of Uncle Quinn’s resources.
After she rescued Kiryu off the side of the road, she got along with him just fine, despite knowing he was a soldier from the Kaligo Empire.
Once she eventually connected the dots and realized that he was actually the Kiryu Ardoladd, the infamous Commander of the Fourth Flame, the one who led the assault on her home village, indirectly, or maybe even directly killing her family, she stormed off, overwhelmed with emotion.

She always carries a small pouch with her; in that pouch there’s a mirror among other useful small objects such as a tiny dirk just in case she needs to protect herself or… in case she encounters Kiryu.

Her grandfather is Uncle Quinn.
Maria loves animals and is seemingly able to calm any animal down, once even calming a rampaging forest troll.
Maria hides her rage with a mask of kindness, using a good heart as a way to cope with the brutal loss of her family and home.
Secretly she wants revenge, which is why she carries a tiny dirk with her, just in case she would encounter Kiryu. Though she likely wouldn’t have the guts to pull through (not taking into account that she’s weak as a mouse)
