Legion Officers

The officers leading the cohorts (100-600 soldiers) within the ten legions.

Average threat scale: Upper Wolf

Description

While legion officers may not be as skilled in combat as Elite Warriors or Captains, they excel in tactics and leadership.

Legion officers fight beside their soldiers, issuing commands and assessing situations in the heat of battle.

Training

Legion officers undergo rigorous tactical and theoretical education in the Lumare Academy, as well as two years of practical training before they’re allowed to take leadership over a cohort.

Equipment

Legion officers rarely have exceptionally expensive gear, usually wearing the standard set of armor and using the same weapons as their soldiers. This is believed to aid in fostering trust and unity amongst the ranks.

Misc

Number of units: 1000 (100/legion, 1/cohort)

Especially prolific legion officers have the privilege to name their cohort themselves, resulting in some cohorts gaining a considerable reputation.

Notable cohorts are for example the First Legion’s Death Droplet Cohort, as well as the Fourth Legion’s Hydra cohort.
