Heavy Infantry

Average threat scale: Upper Wolf
Amount: 50,000 (5,000/legion)
Description:
Slightly more trained than the basic footmen, and equipped with heavier armor and weaponry. These soldiers are also stronger and more experienced, making them more dangerous.
Bow/crossbow units

Average threat scale: Wolf
Amount: 45,000 (4,500/legion)

Similarly trained as basic footmen, but focusing mainly on archery and crossbows. These ranged units are highly versatile on the battlefield, but not as effective in close-quarters combat due to their relative lack of armor.

While their magic is weaker than that of the Elite Warriors and Captains, they make up for that in their numbers and versatility, being deployed onto the frontlines alongside other ranged units. On top of that, they make great support units for putting out fires.
Steam Rifle units

Average threat scale: Lower Troll
Amount: 5,000 (500/legion)
Description:
Expertly trained and equipped with extremely expensive steam rifles capable of shooting straight through thick armor, make these units extremely dangerous on the battlefield.
Siege Engine units

Average threat scale: Troll
Amount: 300 engines, 2500 operators (30/legion, 250/legion)
Description:
Very useful when besieging castles or when fighting large monsters such as mountain golems.
