The Lightning Abscondita, Thunder God
Description
Indra is an abscondita who the elders of the Hidden Cove tried to kill. He miraculously survived his execution and escaped, using the only magic he learned from the other abscondita, lightning magic, to hunt and research rare beasts.
He has an average magical potential for an abscondita, which implies an exceptional magical potential for any human or royal.
Backstory
In his childhood, Indra wanted to explore the world outside the Hidden Cove, but the elders forbid it. He would sneak out when the elders weren’t watching, interacting with various animals and plants.
He was caught many times, being punished harshly each time. He kept going against the code, again and again, questioning most of the laws of the abscondita. Needless to say, the elders didn’t like him.
Years passed, and the elders started despising him, treating him differently as a result. Many of the abscondita his own age started avoiding him in order to gain the elders favor, leading to deep loneliness and an even stronger desire to escape.
Because Indra wasn’t able to learn any other elements of magic, the elders used that as an excuse to brand him as an ill omen, using the opportunity to execute him.
The elders put him in a cave filled with monsters, but somehow, Indra managed to survive. He calmed the beasts, escaping through a crack in the cave to the outside of the Hidden Cove.
The elders assumed that he was eaten alive, and so he had the perfect cover to finally escape and explore the wider world.
He spent the following two centuries learning about various beasts, honing his lightning magic to an incredible level.
Special attributes, items
Indra has also mastered age stasis by the age of 35, as well as both water and fire magic, but he almost exclusively uses lightning magic.
Through two centuries of experience, Indra has become quite in tune with nature and the behaviour of various beasts, being able to calm almost any monster.
Misc information
While on the outside, Indra seems quite hardy and pragmatic, on the inside he is quite soft, loving nature and animals above all else.
