Horned Earling

Threat Scale: Lower Boar

Description

Slightly larger than a racoon, horned earlings are characterized by their two large protruding horns, which earlings will not hesitate to use as a weapon if threatened. Not dangerous per se, but if cornered, earling horns could prove deadly to someone unprepared.

Behaviour

Horned earlings have racoon-like behaviours, scavenging for food, looking for anything to eat in the mountainous terrain.

Earlings have highly evolved ears, which they use to search for small prey, such as tuft mice, as well as to avoid predators like mountain orcs.

Earlings have two massive horns on its head, used for mating and protection.

Diet

Horned earlings are omnivores, eating small rodents as well as various plants that grow in the mountains.
