Flarestone Light

Artificial lights made with a flarestone filament that glows a distinct color.

Description

Flarestone lights are artificial sources of light that are used in the largest cities of the world.

Mechanics

Flarestone lights are constructed out of glass, with a flarestone filament that glows when electrical or magical energy is led through it. The color of the light is reflected by the magical element that is infused into the filament.

A blue light has water-magic coursing through the filament, whereas an orange light has fire-magic coursing through it.

Use

Because of the relatively difficult craftsmanship and requirement of an iridium network, these lights are rarely seen outside the capitals of the world.

Misc

These lights are seen as high-class; royals all around the world see artificial lights as a sign of wealth.
