A race famed for their beauty and intricate control of magic. Elves are characterized by their long pointy ears and thin frames. They are a tragic race that has fallen from grace due to the evils of humanity.
Elves have long been revered as master craftsmen, but over the recent millennia, especially over the recent centuries, elves have been viewed more as objects of pleasure and exploitation, lacking any ounce of personhood. Elves, especially female elves have been sold as a rare commodity amongst the royals of the human empires.
History
Elves were once the third most prominent race, only below humans and abscondita. Once the abscondita left, humanity exploited the elves nearly to extinction.
While female elves were prized for their beauty and sold as sex slaves, male elves were forced to construct great weapons of war, or be killed.
Because of the massive amount of exploitation, the population of the elves has rapidly diminished. There were once over three million elves in the world, but now they number just over 25 thousand.
