Description
Chaos golems (more accurately obsidian and magnetite golems), commonly referred to as ‘wall crackers’, are the tanks of the Allfather’s demon army.
Most chaos golems are over four meters tall with a chunky body made almost entirely out of either obsidian or magnetite.
While extremely tanky and virtually immune to all slashing and piercing damage, as well as being virtually immune to magic, these golems are quite vulnerable to explosives and extremely hard blunt damage, which can shatter the stone if enough force is applied.
Their extreme strength and size makes these demonic golems quite effective at demolishing buildings, walls, and gates of nearly any size and strength.
History
Due to their use during the Chaos Times in destroying city walls and gates, as well as smashing through any buildings between it and its targets, these golems became collectively known as ‘wall crackers’.
Other Information
Most chaos golems are around 3.5-4 meters tall and made out of obsidian, but some (around 25%) stand at 4-6 meters tall, and are made entirely out of magnetite, a mineral both heavier and harder than obsidian.
Despite their immense size and weight, chaos golems are surprisingly fast, easily as nimble as the similarly sized mountain trolls, if not even a little bit faster.
