Bitter Red is the common name for fermented crimsonberry juice, which is a cider-like alcoholic beverage, made by heavily processing the bitter and slightly poisonous crimsonberries, before letting it ferment.
Use
A common alcoholic beverage alongside beer and mead. Tastes highly bitter, with a sweet, citrussy tang.
Misc
The production involves boiling the berries at least three times to get rid of the poisons. After that, sugar and yeast is added, after which it is set to ferment.
