Count Alric, Count of Ironrock, the Bear of the North
Description
Alric Ironhart is the Count of Ironrock, effectively making him one of the two leaders of East Ocula. He is highly gritty and unkept for a royal and count, which makes him an interesting personality.
He regularly hosts gladiatorial duels at Ironrock, where volunteers can fight amongst themselves or against various monsters, from goblins to trolls. Even though he technically isn’t allowed to, he himself partakes in these duels, having defeated four forest trolls to date.
He speaks rough, and acts even rougher, swearing and doing everything how he wants, instead of following any strict codes of conduct. This doesn’t come as such as surprise when considering that it is very much the culture around Ironrock, where survival is harsh.
Backstory
He grew up in the city of Ironrock, and as such, his speech and behaviour have taken on the rough characteristics of the city.
He was a lower royal, but managed to get himself the position of Count through his commendable leadership skills.
Special attributes, items
He wields two longswords at the same time, and is adorned with heavy metal armor. He is not capable of using magic, but does have considerable brawn.
Misc information
Alric has attempted to learn water magic for decades now, having hired private tutors from all around the world, but it just doesn’t click. This is perhaps because he lacks the concentration required for magic, preferring to bash his enemies instead.
Because of their mutually rough natures, Alric and Stormbringer get along quite well.
